Himalayan bath salt

The purification effect of a 30-minute-long salt bathing corresponds to a 3-day-long fasting cure. The bath should have a minimum concentration of 1%. In the case of a normal bathtub (about 100 liters) at least 1 kilo of bath salt is required. The higher the salt’s concentration, the more effective is the purification. Put some salt into the bathtub and add some hot water to it. As the salt gets absorbed, you can fill the bathtub with water. The appropiate temperature of the water should be 37°C.  Avoid the use of foam bath, shampoo or soap. Spend at least 20 minutes in the bathtub. Do not flush your body, dry your skin by soaking up the water. Take a rest for 30 minutes.

During a salt bath, the skin does not dry out, since the horny layer of the skin absorbs water. The skin's natural protective layers do not get damaged, therefore it is highly advisable for those having dry skin. Take a salt bath anytime you feel like to.
